Flex-E-Guard 501

Two-part, elastomeric, cement-based waterproof coating for concrete and masonry. Supplied in 15 kg units.

Flex-E-Guard 501 is a two-part elastomeric waterproof coating formulated for concrete and masonry. Part A consists of Portland cements, silica, PET microfibres and performance additives. When mixed with Part B, a styrene acrylic polymer emulsion, it produces a slurry that can be easily applied to surfaces. On curing, it forms a seamless, flexible, elastomeric membrane that bridges cracks and resists water, salts and atmospheric gases. The coating provides resistance to both positive and negative water pressure, UV stability, chloride and carbonation protection, and freeze–thaw resistance, making it suitable for submerged and exposed applications. Recommended coverage is approximately 1 m²/kg per coat, with two coats advised for best performance.
